Claude Code's desktop app gets faster starts, saved environments and nested sessions for parallel work

Anthropic's @ClaudeDevs account posted an update to the Claude Code desktop app on Oct 14, built for running lots of sessions side by side. What's new, per the thread: faster starts and a new-session screen with recent folders; saved environments (folders, SSH or cloud) with optional worktrees; nested sessions that report back; one-click follow-ups; /btw side questions in their own tab; and a sidebar showing which sessions need you, with a live to-do list and a recap card. To try it, update the desktop app and start a new session.
How you’d use it: Run a bug fix and a test pass in parallel, and see which needs you.
