Up to 200 top European scientific researchers get direct access to frontier tools including AlphaFold 3, WeatherNext, AlphaGenome, AlphaEvolve, and AlphaEarth Foundations, plus $3 million in compute credits via Google Cloud. The pledge supports the EU's AI for Science work through the RAISE initiative and aims to close the compute gap for European labs tackling weather, molecular structure, and related discovery problems.
