Google Research made Deep Review public worldwide on Oct 14. The agentic system splits a document into sections, has AI agents check each one for logical gaps, math errors, inconsistencies and unsupported claims, then a synthesis agent combines the findings and checks them against Google Search. It grew out of pilots that reviewed more than 16,000 submissions to STOC, ICML, NeurIPS and ICLR, and now covers documents such as legal agreements, financial reports and presentations too. Every user gets two free reviews a week; heavier use and the Deep Review API need your own Gemini API key. Google says uploads aren't used to train its models; multi-file checks are coming later.

How you’d use it: Run a paper or contract draft through it before sending it out.
