kitchen-frame turns a ~$50 Android photo frame into a family kitchen dashboard
An MIT-licensed project by huntsyea: a Svelte web app and a Cloudflare Worker that run a wall-mounted Android photo frame (about $50) as a family dashboard with clock, weather, a merged family calendar, Todoist tasks and groceries, recipes, Home Assistant music controls and full-screen messages that AI agents can post to it, plus a photo slideshow when idle. The author credits Wes Bos's original photo-frame-dashboard idea and video; this is an independent implementation. The README warns that the calendar's iCal links work like passwords.
How you’d use it: Show the family calendar, groceries and agent reminders on a kitchen wall frame.
