McKinsey confirmed to The Wall Street Journal that hundreds of North American business-analyst candidates this fall will hold a roughly 10-minute conversation with an AI avatar playing a client, while partners or assessors watch. The avatar doesn't score anyone; people make the hiring decisions. The firm says it may extend the format to other roles next year if the pilot works.

How you’d use it: Rehearse a skeptical-client conversation with an AI before a consulting interview.
