An open letter asks organizations that build, deploy or test cyber-capable models to adopt high-assurance containment and default to airgapping at first, to create an international body that sets standards for more connected setups, and to report containment failures, eventually publicly. Signers include Geoffrey Hinton, Yoshua Bengio and Stuart Russell.

How you’d use it: If you test agents with network access, log and report any containment failure.
